My family used to have a humble cottage near Sparrow Lake (just the lot remains now) and I fondly recall shooting my first wood duck and grouse up there around eighteen years ago (how quickly we age!).

I still make it up there to hunt at least a couple times a season and have been introducing a few new hunters to the various spots. This fall I am finally hoping to put aside a couple of days for a serious deer hunt in WMU 46.

Welcome aboard and enjoy the site! Also, may you find that healthy balance between not spending too much nor too little at Elwood Epps, lol.
