Hello everyone,
I've been lurking for long enough I guess. I've taken an interest in hunting and firearms in general for a while now, looking at a few different forums to learn as much as I can.

I don't have any immediate plans to jump into the sport since I'm a little financially challenged as a grad student. Keep up the good work, this seems like a great community!

I have been meaning to check out Pinecrest for a while now, I have had a couple friends go on the new shooter night who report having a great time. I'm guessing I'll check it out over my reading week. I'm a Brock graduate and am now doing a post graduate certificate at Niagara College (NOTL).
 
Do not join Pinecrest! Go shoot some .22lr on new shooter night but thats about it.

I was a member there for a year, and didn't even think about renewing when I discovered Silverdale. Not that they are bad guys or a ####ty club but there is so much more to do in the shooting sports that you will miss out on at Pinecrest!

Pinecrest is sooooo limited it is not even funny, and the membership is ridiculous unless you are into bullseye, and thats it.

Only a 50 foot bullseye range, and no shooting any closer. Have fun with that!

Do yourself a favour, and come out to Silverdale I would be happy to bring you as a guest. Im also a Brock student, and we are prolly about the same age, as I am a mature student.
 
Welcome, there's a few clubs in the area, kinda hard to find sometimes, but they're out there. Silverdale is by far one of the nicer ones, its worth the drive!
