Hi All,

New to the site. Hunted in the past, now getting back into it. Had to take the PAL course so I could buy a new shotgun and ended up taking the RPAL course too, now I'm hooked. Looking to buy my first handgun, only problem is there aren't many indoor or outdoor ranges to shoot around here.

Can anyone recommend any clubs or ranges in the Delta area?

:welcome: run2it4, you've found a great site, another sister site you might want to explore is Canadacarry, both sites have great people and a lot of knowledge. Can't heip you with the range issue, but I'm sure you'll get lot's of input in a few hours. Last thing, if you're not already a member of CSSA, click on the Canadian Shooting Sports icon at the top of the page, you can sign up online, we need all the members and support we can get to fight for our sport and our rights as gun owners.
 
Welcome to the board. There aren't any clubs in delta, there is a club in south surrey. Its the semiahmoo fish and game club, they only shoot handguns once a week. Also check out the dvc indoor shooting range in poco and the port coquitlam and district hunting and fish club. There is also a range in richmond as well. I think those are your closest range to your place. There are other ranges in the lower mainland, check out http://www.firearmscanada.com/. That site has a list of all the ranges.
 
richmond rod and gun has a shotgun range. close to 6 road and wesminster hwy.
welcome to the board.... I'm from delta..... but have been transplanted to surrey for now. Most of the ranges are in the valley..... abby , mission, there is the burke mnt range in poco..... chilliwack rod n gun.....

lot's of good people here... shoot me a p.m. if you strike out on a local range.
 
checked out richmond rod and gun and they're using vancouver gun clubs facilities for trap and skeet..... they own some property on mitchell island and are currently trying to get funding to build an indoor range.
hope it works out for them.....I'm not looking forward to the long drives to poco and abby...... cuts in to the shooting time.
