Hello. I just wanted to introduce myself.

I just got my PAL/RPAL, so I'm pretty excited about this new hobby of mine. I've lived in the lower mainland for 12 years. A couple years ago I've been branching out in terms of hobbies. I've been riding motorcycles for 3 years, road and dirt. Now I've picked up my latest hobby; shooting.

I still have yet to decide where to shoot. There are a couple of ranges near me. Namely PCDHFC, but from what I hear, even as a member, the wait times for a bench are ridiculous. Because of this, I wouldn't mind finding some crown land to shoot on. The only thing though, is that my main vehicle is my car, which is not so good for most of those logging roads.... I do have a dual sport motorcycle, which I can strap my takedown rifle on, but I'm resorting to scouting these locations beforehand. Sylvester road is a joke. When I scouted that area it looked like an absolute wasteland. Don't people clean up after themselves? I've also scouted squamish valley road. Better condition. Its just a little bit farther than Sylvester.

So my question is; is there any crown land near the lower mainland that is accessible by car? If cars are out of the question, I could take my bike. I wouldn't mind riding all the way out to hope either.....

Thanks in advance.

NAA.

welcome ! Crown land with PAL not a problem. RPAL is a NO NO. Plus you will need a range membership to get restricted guns. CFO will ask for one before they would transfer from store to you or between private sales.

Abby and Chillwack are good ranges (they are both private members only). Mission is getting a bit FUDDY lately.
