Greetings from Victoria

Hi! I'm a Victoria resident, currently attending UVic. Although I don't have my PAL yet, I plan on getting one once my exams are over. I'm interested in hunting, plinking, and collecting, but I'll leave most of that for when I have a more open schedule. My first two purchases are going to be a ruger 10/22 and... some kind of .22lr autopistol. Any suggestions?

i would start with a.22lr and an sks, just kuz the they are both relatively cheap to shoot and fun!!!!

UVic Cgn'ers are increasing - good work!

Don't know if you go through Vancouver at any point, it's kindof the mecca for cheap sks's and ammo. If you like the feel of them they're a good way to go for a beginning gun.

Can't really go wrong with a 10/22 either. Good little guns. We're going to need to get all the UVic and UVic alum together for a range day at some point. I suspect it would be highly entertaining.
