A friend recommended this site to me, I'm thinking about getting into shooting pistols. I grew up in the cadet system, and was always interested in firearms in general. Great site for this i guess

"...I once threw up..." Air Cadets do that a lot. Army Cadets did it because they were drinking under age.
"...thinking about getting into shooting pistols..." Guelph Rod & Gun, Galt Sportsman's Club near Cambridge or the club at Shooter's Choice in Waterloo. Do the RPAL course first.

also from the guelph area. never been to guelph rod and gun but i am a member at colby! highly recommended!

Guelph rod and gun is a good facility. Both indoors and outdoors.
If memory serves, the trap shooting on saturday is open to the public, its a good way to have a look if you are looking for a club to join.
