Grey Birch Stock Fitting Issues

Just putting together my 10/22 build; Grey Birch Foundation Dlx stock, Dlask Tuff-22 receiver, Kidd single stage trigger, and am having some fitting issues.
The receiver tang forward of the mag well is binding against the inner portion of the stock, or there is potentially not enough sspace in the gap between the bottom of the receiver and the top of the trigger group to slide over the stud in the rear of the stock.

Has anybody else had a similar issue? I'm not keen on removing material but it seems to be the only solution.

Advice is welcome, thanks in advance.

You will need a sharp chisel: I slowly pared out the difference between a standard 10/22 and my DAR-22 receiver ... it isn't much but enough to be unacceptably/prohibitively tight. Chisel out slowly and leave it overtight (if you are not skilled with chisel... you can finish off with sandpapers), but when finished, the receiver should fit snug so as to eliminate all movement before the receiver screw is set.
