Greyboe stocks any good compared to mcmillans?

I’ve got a Greyboe Renegade. It’s tough and I would buy another. It’s not as fully featured as it’s more more expensive A5 cousin. It’s a price point stock and will last longer than my life so it’s all good. Looks and feels like the McMillan stock brothers!

It feels like the A5 without the adjustments and I’m guessing it’s made from similar molds.

What’s not to like?

Cheers, Barney

Grayboe is the original owner of Mcmillian , they sold Mcmillian and started ano her company!

Nice to know. The greyboe are simply made differently right and or out of a different material? I was thinking of a greyboe renegade for my vudoo v22 rimfire barreled action to drop into instead of a krg bravo

Greyboe is a company started by McMillans son. He was given rights to the A5 and has created a process for an injection molded stock instead of the hand laid fibreglass like McMillan.
I just purchased one and really like it , feels great and seems very solid. A few things I did notice, if you like the texturing on the foreend and palm swell then you will need to do afterwards . You can have an adjustable cheek riser installed from most gunsmiths for about $250-$300
If you want flush cups, rails etc I believe you must install on your own as I didn't see the option when ordering mine.
Seems like a great option for a stock and has a great price point.
Go big tactical currently has a used one for sale with bottom metal for $495. That's a great price
Can also talk to Gary at Big Horn Sales to order new

I had a greyboe renegade and liked it, switched to the krg bravo and I’m bravo all the way. Solid, more comfortable and fully adjustable and you don’t need to buy bottom metal. Bought the greyboe from Gary at big horn and bravo from Tom at go big and they are both great to deal with.

Was gonna buy the used one off goblgttactical but somebody say my post here and snatched it clearly lol. I like my bravo. I have another bravo on order for my vudoo rimfire and was about to change my mind for a greyboe stock.
