Grinding Spec-Ops stock for oversized VS safety on Grizzly?

Installed a Knoxx Spec-ops stock on my DA Grizzly. It has a VS Comp oversized safety.

Good thing I took a close look before firing because I had no idea the safety will slam into the stock during recoil and would surely damage things.

Anyone grind the stock to create a channel for oversized safety? Noticed the left side is shaped for the safety to clear so shouldn't be too hard to do with a dremmel. Any thoughts?
Thank you.

I'd put the factory safety back on.
Then I'd put the butt of the stock on the floor and "push" on the receiver to force it back into "full recoil" mode. Note how far the safety moves back and remove enough material.

Stock is soft enough I'd use an end mill chucked into a drill press to get clean looking hole. Yes a dremel would work but why spend all this time and money to make something look like crap.

My .02.
