Grip Force For Glock Question!!

I Disagree, since putting one on my G19 and my G17 I love to shoot the guns that much more. They point properly now and don't eat my hand up. I can achieve the same grip as every other handgun I use with zero issue. No more Glock bite. Glock wouldn't have "updated" their pistols if there wasn't a problem to be solved.

dont you have those pics of your slide using blood from your hand as oil before you moved you adapter to your new 19?

yeah somewhere. But of course it is because I didn't have a proper grip on the gun, at least not a Glock grip on the gun. With the GFA I just use the same grip as all my other guns. Much better.

I have never gotten slide bite from a glock, im not sure how you can and i got meat hooks for hands.

Grip higher.

I don't use a GFA but I have permanent scarring from shooting glocks. I happen not to care, but lots of people with a high grip (good) have the same issue.

I grip as high as i can, never any issues. If i tried to grip any higher, i would for sure get slide bite. Not saying it cant happen, we are all built differently, i just have not had that issue. If it works for ya though, go for it, lots of people modify their guns to suit them.

I'm a new shooter but have learned to shoot pretty accurately with the Glock(do a lot of rapid fire), however I do have rubbing on the knuckle on my thumb which has resulted in a scab that keeps opening every time i shoot it. I was hoping to have this eliminate it as I do grip as high as I can but it sill seems to happen. I have a Gen3 btw

I guess during the recoil the frame hits a small portion of my thumb joint enough,'don't have this problem with a Gen 4 with the same grip. Although I am trying a different grip that feels a little less comfortable but avoids the scraping.

your thumbs should be to the left, no where near the slide. Id have to see a pic of your grip to see what your talking about.

As you can see i'm getting a sore on my knuckle. I'm trying to shift my right hand a little more to the left where it doesn't rub but it a bit uncomfortable. I'm hoping the grip force fixes this as I'm shooting really well with this grip.

You are gripping the pistol too low with your left hand. Get higher with your left hand grip and it should move your dominant hand thumb up. Your left hand thumb should be resting on the plastic of the frame just in front of the slide lock tabs. This will cause you dominant hand thumb to rest a lot closer to the slide stop lever, so you may have to move your dominant hand thumb onto the meat of your left hand.

EDIT: I had the camera handy so I snapped a few pics of the way I grip my Glock (I use a GFA). I don't have large hands, so I've never had an issue with Glock Bite, but my fingers are freaky long, so it works for me.

This was a hard pic to take so the pistol isn't aligned as it usually is, but the grip is right (for me)..
