grip length Walther ppq and S & W range 9mm

at the local gun show today....looking for 1st handgun. Noticed the Walther ppq...was looking for the SR9 and S & W Range kit 9mm.

The Walther has a shorter grip length. Just wondering if anyone found this gun a little small to handle compared to the range kit 9mm.

I was not able to handle the gun at the time.

My girlfriend shoots a PPQ and I have no issues going from my CZ Shadow to it.

TBH I did not even notice the grip was shorter than a standard grip.
 
Between a FMK 9C1 and a SIG P226 and a Walther PPQ I'm not really noticing any real differences in grip. The PPQ definitely does not feel small in my hand.
