Grip N pull , bullet puller

I ordered two. They didn't work as the video showed. They marked bullets when pulling them. Often they needed to be spread open in order to get a bullet in them.
My advice is to save your money.

You’ll still need the inertia puller. If you only have ogive to grip it will slip and mark up the bullet. They are fast and handy to have at times. Ordered direct from them.

While inertia hammers suck to use and make a powdery mess, the should never affect the Ogive position ( and bearing surface length).
I used to use a hammer but found it tedious for anything more than 5 rounds.

I now use an RCBS collet style puller die... works great... but no matter how careful I am, bullets seem to get a bit warped ( ogive and BSL seem to move a few thousands)

I use the RCBS collet style
Most of the bullets I pull are the Russian capture 8mm.. Then recharge with existing powder
You have to work at them ..
Can't see getting more grip with this thing???

Mine marked up the bullets badly, would only work on easy to pull bullets, ones with more tension, not a hope.
You also need to have a really strong hand grip to squeeze it tight enough, Pliers would work easier is right. Looks great in their videos....real life not so much.
Went and bought an RCBS collet puller and it works much, much better.

I have some that are of the collet type that you actually have to thread into your press. Though I haven't used them yet. They were from Lyman.

Someone tell me if I imagined it, but didn't a few years back Lee advertised a coming soon product that was a die to remove the bullets? I swear a saw a video where they ran rounds through it, and the first bullet caught, then the subsequent bullets caught and pushed the previous one up and out of the die and it looked glorious.

Or am I just crazier than I know I am?

You probably seen a Lee Resizing Die for Lead Bullets which is not a Bullet puller.

Cheers

I don't think it was that, this was being advertised as a new/upcoming product but I never saw anything more than that. It looked like the old forster one. I swear I'm not crazy... I hope.
