Grip pod

TD bipod will be goign on the plastic lower pencil barrel gun from my understanding IF the project goes forward.

Rumours out of USSOC have the Hk416 being the drop on replacement scuttelign SCAR, and the Hk417 just killed KAC's SASS contract...

Tobad Hk is what it is....

Kev, any info/pics of the HK417????

Thx.

I think that Grip pod was built for US 3 gun shooters. There idea of a IPSC or Sport Gun is different then ours, Mostley will see done up AR15 to look uber tactical, Theirs they will make like a race gun but a AR.

So they could have a vertical grip and have the option of a bipod. To help them stable their gun better without having to worry about having a bipod to open or close.

Looking at the JPRifle website I saw this.

FFTBPF.jpg

Bipod at far end for max stability

FFTBIPODR.jpg

Bipod in close for fastest target index

I like the look of the TD Bipod and I'll probley get that on my AR15 14.5(Will swap out for a 16") Multi task gun.

From the folks I have talked to who have in fact used one (or trialed them) they are fragile and prone to breakage, one lasted for only 5 mins of live fire on a conventional range during acuraccy testing. I only know of 3 people who have tried them but they are in agreement..it sucks.

Well maybe that'll give them more insentive to sell it to us civies. HK must really be pulling some strings behind the scenes there.

I dont think that will likely happen any time soon as far as the adoption of the HK 416 IMO I believe that it is being used is because it was readily available now

Larry Vickers - Ex Ranger and Delta shooter, and noted 1911 pistolsmith - worked with Hk to build the 416...

Hk cant stock the 416 fast enough for all the SOF units buying it...
The 417 is not even production and it has orders
