Hey guys, you know anyone in Canada that sells replacement grips for Uberti 1873 SAA clones? Looking for a pearloid or fake ivory grip for my stainless gun...

Also, anyone know how to fix a gun that shoots too high? Do you need to replace the front sight with a taller one, or can you solder something on top?

My 7.5" Cattleman shoots extremely high, probably 2 feet at 20 yards. Windage is good.

Any insight is appreciated, thanks!

Don't know anyone in Canada selling Uberti/Pietta/Taylor Cattleman grips. Would be pretty sweet if Pietta sold those "Man with no name" grips separately.

Dang, 2' high at 20yrds?! I hope I don't have that problem with mine. Don't know if they make such a thing to increase the height of the front blade. A smith will have to solder/braze on a new taller blade and then you'll have to get the barrel refinished. Do you reload? If so, have you tried tailoring your loads to work with your sight ie lighter load, different powder, bullet weights etc? Or stick with good old Kentucky windage.

Thanks for the replies guys, can't believe there's no store in Canada selling single action grips!

I don't reload as of now, guess I'll have to just have to hold under.

Marstar carries Pietta grips which I'm told will fit but they only list a wood and a mock ivory one and forever sold out.
