Quick question for those of you that have the grizzly with ghost ring sights. How easily are they removed? I'm assuming the rear you just remove the screws but what about the front. Thinking of a grizz as a project but not sure what direction I want to go yet. If the sights are removed rather easily I'll get one with them and then I can go either way. Thanks

A removable front sight presents a problem with respect to a return to zero. It would require an index mark on the barrel so that it could precisely placed each time. A barrel band style would be the most convenient to remove, but these are less appealing aesthetically and will often loosen and move from the barrel vibration generated by firing. A fixed front sight would be much easier to live with.

Makes sense, but thats not really my question. If I remove the sight I will be keeping it off. I was just curious as to how easily I could remove it. If the removal is'nt too difficult I will be better off to get the gun with them. That way I can keep them if I like or I could remove them to modify the gun. If removal is difficult and requires refinishing etc I will just get a standard version and go from there.
