grizz mag molle pouch

Ok, here ya go. I've got a Condor Mulitcam plate carrier that I use for 3-gun matches. It's an amazing unit. I was worried about it fitting me because I'm smaller than average but it is almost infinitely adjustable so I was able to get it to fit perfectly.
The pouch on the far left is a Condor Double Stacker M4 Mag Pouch. Works great for regular M4 mags as well as LAR mags attached together.
The middle pouch is a 5.11 Radio Pouch (58718) in Dark Earth. I bought it at Dave's Tactical in New West. It fits the Grizzly mag perfectly. I'd prefer it came in multicam but I guess that's tough luck. The pouch is just rigid enough that the mag slides in and out easily. It came with elastic tie downs but I took 'em off. Although I shoot 3-gun matches, I'm not running and diving around vigorously enough that I've got to worry about mags falling out of pouches. Plus, it's not as if my life depends on not having a mag fall out. It's much faster to get 'em out without the straps anyway.
The pouch on the right is an HSGI Modular Open Top Universal Mag Pouch. I bought it at Dave's Tactical as well. It does not work very well with the Grizzly mags. While I can get them in it, there is a jutting piece of metal on the side of the mags that catch the edge of the pouch, and make it all but impossible to extract the mags quickly.
The pouch on the far right is a Maxpedition RolyPoly Medium dump pouch. One word "Awesome". 'Nuff said.
There is another pouch that I want to try out. It's a TT 7.62/.308 Single Mag Pouch from Dave's Tactical. I think they might be just about perfect because they are designed for the larger 7.62 magazine. Also, it's shorter so they might not catch on that piece of metal sticking out on the side of the Grizzly mags. They didn't have any the last time I was there so I don't know how good they will fit. If you end up picking one up please let me know how it works out.

Consider looking at HSGI "Taco" pouch, they can carry a variety of magazines (not the cheapest pouch out there though), Dave's Tactical carrys them too i think.
