Grizz not feeding?????

I just picked up a new grizz 870 12.5 inch shotty. Took it out the other day and I cant get the rounds into the tube mag, and if I manage to cram one in when I cycle the action it won't take a round out of the tube and chamber it. Any thoughts on a fix, obviously the bars are not moving out of the way, but why, I can't get it to work? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Check to make sure the follower is not cracked or split.
check to make sure the shell latches are not bent.
stripp and clean evey part of the gun, not just hose it down on the outside.

Ditto on the clean and check. Also, for me, I wasn't aware there was a magazine plug inside, but this is with an HP9. I'm not sure about Grizzes, but you may have one in it.
