Grizzly 8.5" OAL

Hi, I just pre-ordered the new Grizzly and it's advertised as 27 1/8" long. I've read that the 8.5" Dlask is 29" Anyone have an idea why the difference? The reason I'm asking is that I want to put either a Knoxx NRS stock or Hogue LOP on it when it comes and if it is 27 1/8" than this limits stock choice which would make it over 26"

receiver and barrel should be the same....maybe the factory Grizzly stock is the same length as the knoxx when collapsed?

My Dlask 8.5 with Knoxx fully collapsed is 26 3/4 ish....
