Took it to the range today. Between the 10 coworkers there they must have put close to 500 rounds through it. Once they fired it..they couldn't put it down..:D
No one offered to clean it for me though..

My DA Grizzly is the perfect deer hunting gun for the shotgun only zones here in Southern Ontario.

About 200 rounds through mine & not even a hint of a malfunction & real accurate with several different brands of slugs.

I hear that quality with the DA Grizzly's is variable & some have had problems with theirs.

Looks like I lucked out..........my Grizz is a little sweetheart. :)

It should be interesting at the O.P.P/MNR game stop checks this fall watching the LEOs as they huddle up & get on the "blower" to check out the legality of that short barrel with Detachment GHQ.

I'm buying a pair of pink polka dot boxer shorts in anticipation of the take down & strip search. :eek:
 
I was out bowhunting on monday. A little black bear snuck up on me while i was huddled down in some bush. I had just enough time to grab my grizzly shotgun, but the shotgun failed. Damn thing didn't work when I wanted it most.... of course it probably would have worked had I not forgot it in the truck :D:rolleyes::p

Thinking about picking up a Grizzly but I don't know that much about shotguns. What is the advantage of a mag feed vs. a traditional tube & pump? What makes the Grizzly better than say a 900/950 series Mossberg?

I don't know of any other advantage with the mag fed then quicker reloading times. I think they are ugly as f**k and would be awkward to deploy.

I don't think my grizzly is any better then my 870 marine magnum. The fun as hell to shoot factor is extremely high though..
To date I haven't had one malfunction with my grizz.

I have a stainless Remington 870 Marine Magnum & prefer the short snout & ghost ring sights of the DA Grizzly for quick shots in brush.
