Hey folks

Hoping someone can help me with this. I took my Grizzly to the range today with a few cases of Low Recoil 2 3/4" slugs. Loaded ol stumpy up and let er rip. All 4 rounds that I fired went boom fine (nice fireball btw). The action unlocked easily enough and ejected the spent shell, but would bind up on loading the next shell. All 3 ended up in the same position, slightly nose down about a half inch from the chamber. I was able to load by basically re-cycling the action.

I dismantled it once I got home, didn't see any burrs or wear and everything seems to be working just fine.

Wondering if anyone has had a similar problem.

Yes im having the exact problem with the same shotgun ,, the shell lifter is not lifting the shell high enough for it to chamber .. i tried swapping out the trigger group with another 870 clone i have and then it worked fine .. so i called Can Am the dealer i bought it from and there gona send me a new trigger group ,, hope this fixes it .

The B&S low recoil slugs I have are slightly shorter than 2 3/4"... They're listed as 2 5/8" ... Maybe that has something to do with it being shorter and not making it up the ramp properly

I looked at the shell lifter and slowly racked a round through. Same problem. When I moved it by hand, I noticed that it does in fact bind about 3/4 of the way fully up. I am going to assume that I have the same problem as Boss351. I'll contact Canammo and see what they have to say.

Thanks
