You go to press the safety from fire to safe it will not press thru the trigger guard... its never been used ever so is it just stiff? I am really familiar with the remington 870's had several never had this problem...
I removed the trigger assembly and didnt see anything preventing it from working.
Second problem I have is if you load a shell in the chamber then fire you have to double pump it to get a shell from mag tube once you fired the first one... as a bear defence gun when I tried it the first time I would have got eaten by the bear... as it only got off one shot.
I am pretty competent gun builder... before I go messing around with it I thought it would be a good idea to see if anyone else ran into these problems and how they where resolved.
