TransAm1991, his cousin and I tried out his new Grizzly. Wicked shotgun, he has a couple issues with the trigger and the action. Got a couple hiccups on video, but it did put a smile on our face anyway! A few swear words in there... those slugs were LOUD!

She liked it... 2 were target loads, 2 slugs

play with various manufacturers to see what works best in your shotgun. I used Remington slugs in mine and it locked the action up like yours. I ran 25 slugs through my 8.5 today without a hick up using federal slugs. Ran low brass birdshot as well without any issues. What range is that, looks like your shooting in your basement.,

Windsor Action Pistol, all we have locally. It looks and feels like a dungeon but that's the closest range to me...

It's not my shotgun, TA91 told me that he was having a couple issues, which appeared in the vid... I'm sure it's something simple. Maybe CA or a CGN'r would know what the problem is.

Looks like it needs the chamber polished maybe.... My griz mag was a total let down I sent it back. Never heard to many bad things about the tube fed tho. Nice vid and gun!

griz

She didn't seem to have any trouble shootin or rackin' the Grizzly.....Put down yer purse and try again!! lol

Mine would do that every once in awhile, I believe it has to do with the chamber being rough inside. A good polish, even just a good rub with some fine emery cloth and do more rubbing near the open end to almost make a tiny taper. You want it to be perfectly parallel or slightly bigger at the breach so they don't expand inside and have to shrink coming out, that's what makes them feel tight. Mine has had probably 5-600 shells through it, mostly birdshot target stuff, some slugs and 3" buck. Big flames with the 3" lol

I shot about 5 vids, she did actually. Some jamming and FTF...

I am thinking a thorough disassembly, cleaning and polishing of the chamber might help. Again, not my shotgun, so I don't know what he has done/not done.

I bought 2 Zastava Skorpions and they were gummed up inside like crazy, had to clean/lube them before they functioned properly.

Still, that Grizzly was wicked fun. R:d:

My language in that video is absolutely stellar..

My mother would be so proud..

Anyway, a few loads, it wasn't the action, more or less the trigger not functioning at all.. It more than likely just has to be broken in..

The ammo was Winchester slugs, and winchester 2 3/4" Hi Velocity BB shot.

Thanks for posting. I want the Grizzly with the mag though. Those 00 Bucks perform well.

We shot the Federal 2 3/4 #7 as well.

I think the best way to describe it is like the "gremlin" in the CZ858's, pull trigger, nothing (unless the round wasn't loaded)... there was some jamming issues too.

Buff the chamber and try again... Range Trip!

For the FTE's, rack it like you hate it, especially from new. Had the same issue. Some mileage and a little polishing fixed things up in a few dozen rounds.

I assume that's a 12", and they're still coming w/3" chambers. Try some magnum slugs. Your buddy won't be swearing...he'll be wetting his pants.
