Grizzly shotgun with or without ghost ring?

Which one is a better choice, the Grizzly shotgun 12.5" barrel with a bead or with the ghost ring, anything wrong with a short barrel and ghost ring?

It's just personal preference. Personally I opted for the 12.5" bead sight, and it works great. I've even shot skeet with the thing halfway decently. It's a reliable little boomstick.

ive had both and if ever wanted to use it for bear defence I would definitely want the bead sights.

Bead sights. Its easier to swap barrels that way, finding bead sights as opposed to ghost sited set ups...

The Grizzly GRS are pretty good actually.

However, I'd opt for the bead sight and add an XS Big Dot to it. More versatile IMO.

Any 870 barrels should fit.

get the ghost ring and a spare bead sight barrel. the rear is just screwed into the receiver, sawp on the bead barrel.

I like the GRS version. Especially when shooting slugs. My two Gizzlies are like lazers within 50 yards.
I've found beads on short barrels to be less accurate with slugs with regards to point of aim vs point of impact. They are better suited for buck and bird shot IMO.

I have the 12.5 with g/r and I wish I had bead but I'll be ####ed if I'm going to pay 150 for a bead barrel when I only paid 300 for the gun.

+1 to this idea, the ghost ring sights on them are pretty damn good and you just unscrew the rear set if you want to switch to a barrel with a bead sight.
