Grossman 1100 co2 shotgun

I've got two, they are fun for walking around the yard and kicking clumps of grass mouse hunting. I think I paid about $250 each. Vintage shells are hard to find but I got a couple thousand reproduction ones from a guy in North Dakota. They also hit pretty hard with a .375" round ball, no rifling obviously so accuracy isn't that great.

Im not too sure of what the interest is in these anymore but i used to have one about 10 years ago. My favorite thing to do was load the red shells with .380 lead balls. The shotgun had enough energy to flatten a ball out to the size of a nickel. I bought a set of stick on rib sights for it and got decent accuracy at 20 yards it was a real hoot. The shot was not nearly as entertaining. The only thing to be aware of is the barrel band is of a very brittle material and easily broken. Have fun with yours. If you got them cheap enough they are worth keeping. I picked up a bulk Co2 bottle for mine as it was a real hog with those co2 capsules. I cant really comment on current values but i sold mine for $250, I find these days there doesn't seem to be the same interest in older airguns as there were in the early to mid 2000's im sure mostly due to availability of parts.
