So I’ve been using some Ameristep ground blinds that have the shoot through mesh, but any shot that I’ve taken in them I’ve been able to line up out of the “gun ports”, and didn’t go through the mesh. Now that bow season is about to begin I started wondering about actually shooting through the mesh.
In looking around, quite a few people say it doesn’t deflect arrows, and is okay to shoot through, however without testing this myself, I don’t know if it’s a good idea or not, which leads me to my next question.
Where can you actually buy replacement mesh for these blinds? Looking online I can’t really find anything. Even looking at the manufactures web site, they only list replacement mesh for two styles of their blinds, but not for the ones I have (Brickhouse). I suppose I could contact them and ask, but thought that I would try here since it’s the weekend, and I likely won’t get a response from them until next week. I really don’t want to put holes in the mesh if I can’t replace it.
