Got a friend with a big dog he'll let you borrow?
I was building a barn for a friends' family a few years back, and there were a whole bunch of 'em under one of the garages. We threw rocks at them, shot 'em with pellet guns and paintball guns, even had a concrete truck fill their hole in at the end of pouring one day... None of that did anything.
When the family finally moved there after construction was done (or done enough, at least) the dogs took quick care of them.
