Grouse and recipe.

Cooked up my Northern Ontario Partridge tonight.
This is the second time we used this recipe and its freking delicious.
Figured I'd share it.

Grouse in a cast Dutch pot.
This fit nicely in the wood stove top loading port.
Dampen down to off and let it simmer until the afternoon
hunt is over.
A fork gently pulls the meat away from the bone without breaking the wishbone.

Hmm hmmmmmm good.............

gonna give that bacon dish a try, the meat shouldn't be dry. Got my grouse Lic the other day. Willy (my best pal dog) & I will head out for a hunt first chance we get.
