grouse hunting in the kawartha lakes?

Looking for a spot I could hunt for grouse in the Lindsay /bobcaygeon/ fenelon falls area. Anyone know where I can or would allow a tag along please let me know, thanks

There is really no serious grouse population, worth hunting around there. Sorry.

Burnt River area has public land with some grouse. My wife hunted it a lot although she had dogs to help. Near Fenelon.

I used to hunt the south side of Big Bald lake a few years back with some success. I don't know what it's like these days.

Used to see some in what is now the Queen Elizabeth II Wildlands Provincial Park, Norland and Head Lake area.

No but I was a part owner of a cottage in that area many moons ago and walked and hiked there a lot. In two summer/fall I only saw 2 ruffed grouse. Decent whitetail population though.
