I got the 870 polished up, ammo purchased and blaze orange ready to go.

Time to duff some bush ningas.

Same for fellow Quebecers. Not sure what to use yet. 20ga 870 wingmaster, 20ga coach 410 single or an old 12ga Mossberg bolt with a polychoke. Whatever is used its always a good walk.
 
Well I had an interesting first day lol.

Got to my hunting spot around 6:30ish. Get there do my thing, walking half way down the road I realize my J lock for the Remmy trigger was locked "DOH!" so I had to drive all the way back and get my J lock key.

Get back there and it start's misting, no problem.. then it got harder so I stayed in buddies moose shack for a few until it calmed down and went back out.

Anyway. It was a cold, damp, windy, rainy day. And I just wanted to get out there because well... It is the first year I have the privledge to hunt by myself so I was excited.

No Grouse this morning, but when I was driving back to get my J lock key I could have had 2 cottontails "grr"

There is alway's tomorrow ;)
