looking forward to all bird hunting
I started hunting birds in 1968 and still chasing them today at a much much slower pace

Up here it started September first and we saw quite a bit of grouse action this summer, not as much as snowshoe hare but not bad.

Going for a drive tomorrow west of here, had to grab the Springfield M6. Ya never know…

Get a 28 gauge, you can swat one on the ground and when the rest fly away you can swat one out of the sky.
Can't do that with a 22.

28 is my gun of choice also. Best gauge ever made for upland. 20 sometimes 12 for ducks and geese just because I find there is more options for steel shot ammo.
