I've got a dozen magazines for this rifle. I don't use it often. so the mags mostly stay loaded and not used. Today I go to shoot it and it's fail to feed after fail to feed, one after the other. The problem is clearly that the rifle will fire once or twice then the next round doesn't lift properly out of the magazine to feed. Over and over.

I've tried several different types of ammo, it's all doing the same.

Which is somewhat odd, since it all the mags seemed to work fine before. Usually springs wear and lose tension from use, not simple compression, but all I cna think of is weak spring. Anyone else have this issue. I tired 6 mags, all the same issue.

Instead of tapping the back of the mag to seat all the cartridges neatly like on every other mag I've ever tried, tap it gently to the front. It's counter intuitive, but may solve the issue. I have the ISSC MK22 and that did it for me. Over 1000 rounds since I've had an issue. I hope it helps.

So I tried the tapping and it seemed to help but they still were binding. I loosened the little Allen head screw on the follower, took care while loading them and now they work fine with Winchester wildcats. Not so great feeding with the hollow points though. Success!!
