so after ~1500 rounds my firing pin broke, (thanks NAVYCUDA). a quick search of the web showed that this is an all too common occurrence. sunday so blueline is closed, but is there any places that make a better pin? titanium? all i can find is that stupid kit with all kinds of junk bits just to buy the firing pin, and they are sold out every where it seems.

Haven't seen anyone make a firing pin for them. Contact blueline and they'll send you another one. You don't need to order the whole kit unless you want to.

1500 rds!? How many dry fire thumps did it take? I sent my whole gun to Blueline a while ago for a rebuild but it had 100,000 rds through it (conservatively) before the pin broke. Unfortunately the parts are German and hence I wait for a slow boat to arrive to our shores.

1500rds is not barely worn in IMHO...if you weren't dry firing it, something is up with the dimensions on that gun I would hazard a guess. It that scenario another pin will only get you another 1500 rounds. I would send it to someone if not Blueline to have it checked out.

Mine has approx 4000 rds and still in good shape. Except for the finish and the wear by slide stop notch, everything else in in good shape. I do not dry-fire any .22 without a dummy round. If you just call Blueline, they will bring you back in action very soon, assuming they have the part in stock.
