GSG 1911 guide rod

Hi all,

my guide rod broke on my GSG 1911.

Are there any stores in Calgary that will sell an upgraded parts kit?

I was looking at GSG pro kit, but it is pretty pricey and i don't know if it will clear the customs.

Blue line should be able to help you out, they are the Canadian importer for GSG.

For what it's worth, there was one for sale on the EE that had broken the guide rod and been repaired with a piece of brass rod. I thought it was an effective and simple fix.
Might not be the preferred method to many people but it also might put it back in service while you wait for parts. Anyone with a lathe or good drill press should be able to get it done.
