Hi everyone. I just bought a new gsg 1911. This is my forst handgun. I field striped it, cleaned and oiled it. I put it back together and now the mag won't eject with the slide open on empty. If I move the slide about 1 mm then the mag will eject. It looks like the slide is coming just a bit too far forward and has some pressure on the mag when it's empty. Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks for you help.

Had two...no issues so far..I'll think about it ....sorry it's giving you trouble....first pistol and all...

Just a thought...is the guide rod properly seated against the barel block, used to have a small ledge it could hang up on....

Recoil spring in backwards? There is a large and small end to the factory spring on those. If you reverse it it tends to jam slide.

I had the same problem it turns out I had a bad slidelock I called blueline solutions and got a replacement for free

Call blueline, they are very good in terms of support for the GSG, I had a cracked bushing on my 1911, and they sent me a replacement within days. I am sure they will be able to help you.
