GSG 1911 - Why Does My Magazine Hold 11 Rounds?

Wonder how some folks pass their RPAL with their "Do you feel lucky, punk?" attitude. Deserve to have the sh!t scared out of them for simply counting for safety.

I bought a GSG 1911 .22 recently and so far I've taken it to the range once.

The magazine held 11 rounds!

I put something in the bottom of the magazine to take up space so it only holds 10 now, but WTF?

Y'all might want to check the capacity of yours. An 11 round pistol magazine would be a prohibited device and could land you in serious trouble, through no fault of your own.

I'm wondering if it was just mine, or if they're all like that.

Still better than people shipping you standard 30 round Uzi or AK mags, happened to me more than once and when asked they say it's an advantage. Since when is 3 year jail an advantage?

Or what about pinning 30 round mags to 4 rounds, WTF, also happened to me more than once.
