why is everyone saying they'll buy one?

We've already established it is two halves of dubious looking metal (probably cast) held together with what looks like plain old self tapping wood screws and nobody even knows if it is accurate.

I for one am not holding my breath.

I'll only buy one after I've handled one personally and have seen a proper range report.

Rapid fire and a 6 inch group doesn't constitute a proper range report.

Besides I need to know if it'll do anything that my 11.5" 10/22 won't be able to do; otherwise I'd rather save another couple hundred beans and buy an AR180b...

I'd like to see a proper evaluation...

By the way, we should move all this discussion over to the other monster thread... we're trying to see how long it will take to get to 100 pages... and posting this discussion here is only delaying the inevitiable!

Bulls**t. They're just bureaucrats at tech branch. Don't give them that much credit. Besides, it takes an Act of Parliament or an Order in Council to change it's classification to prohibited by name, providing that it meets the current criteria for non-restricted status.

Bureaucrats are who really run this country.
