GSG-5 Rimfire / Canadian legal status

On their site, Blue line have this post:

"February 25, 2008: The RCMP's FRT Department classified GSG-5 as prohibited weapon, claiming it to be HK-MP5 variant. The decision was entirely based on visual appearance, rather than technical facts. We have decided to dispute that decision. We retained T. Murray Rankin Q.C. of Heenan Blaikie to pursue a review of that decision and, if necessary, an appeal. We will further inform you of any developments on this matter."

So I was wondering if any review of a decision is possible ???
 
Hi guys, unfortunately we haven't heard any news about the legal status of the GSG-5. Legal action can get extremely expensive and at the moment it doesn't look like we'll be making a lot of headway on the decision. As always, we'll let everyone know if things change. Thanks for your interest.

You guys could always throw it out there that it will cost x dollars and ask for donations. A 5 bucks a pop, I am sure it will not take long to build up enough to get the ball rolling.

I understood it as they based there decision on the brochure that called it an MP5 variant and pretty much nothing else.
