If the folding stock version is NR, I'll get them both. Not really interested in a fixed stock, I'd rather just have it taken off.

Dear MegaMonkeyChunk,

The MP40 will come with a folding or fixed stock. The folding version would be 24 inchs when folded so it would most likely be a restricted were the pinned version would be most likely non restricted. It will depend on the RCMP and how they class it.

Best regards,
Scott

Thanks for the response.

I heard talk there's gonna be one with a folding stock and a 16" barrel so it can be sold in the US and also making it NR here. Is this true?

Yes it appears that it's possible that they will be making a longer version as well. I don't have the exact specs at this time as I would have to contact them. I'm going off of older info.

It doesn't have a FRT number at this time so it will have to go through the RCMP.

Best regards,
Scott

Thanks a lot for all the info. We'll just wait and see.
