Hi Guys,

I got a little bit of a situation and it's really pissing me off. So here is the run down:

1) Took my GSG for some range time (shot good, no malfunctions of any kind through 200-300 rounds)
2) came home, stripped it, cleaned it, put it back together (done it a few dozen times over the last year and have a pretty thorough routine)
3) Went to rack the slide, stuck! Moves about quarter inch back (just enough to let some light in the breach, but not enough to push the slide stop out)

Only other thing I think I should mention is that I do put rubber gromets (one at a time) on the recoil spring guide. I think most people are doing that as well.

Anyways, this is bugging me. If anyone can think of anything that may help me get this bad boy apart, please chime in.

Took the one bigger screw out, but can't push the other one out until the slide stop is out. And I can't get the slide back far enough to remove the slide stop... Kind of a catch 22. Just going to my shop now to tinker on it. Keep the ideas rolling guys

Did you remove the bushing, plug, and spring and try? At least be able to see in there if it's catching up in the top end. Hammer pulls back and fires fine?

Got it beat guys. I finally got the bushing out and could get a pick in there to wiggle out barrel and slowly slip it all out. Not sure what the problem was.. Spring was right and everything seemed in order. Re-assembled and it works great. Thanks for all the input, I was really getting frustrated
