GTA area long range shooting ???

Where do you guys go to shoot long range in the GTA areas including Hamilton/Fort Erie, Barrie/Orillia (up north) ???

I've been to Silverdale once. It was ok, they have a 200 yard rifle range, but I was looking for a much longer range like 700-1000 yards.

My cousin lives near SnowValley in Barrie (HWY 26 & 27) and there's a place he took me were there's a large open area about 500-800 yards of open spaces and large hills were people obviously shoot there. I've seen many spent shotshells and rifle casings. I believe its called snowvalley pitts, and is crown land I think??? I have'nt been there to shoot, but I might drive up to check it out.

Anyone heard of it, or go somewhere else to shoot 500yards+ on open crown land or a certified/licenced range.

Thanks, there's only three ranges to go to?

Seems really nice. With membership to ORA you can go to any of the three all year round unlimited, or could I pay per-individual day?

Cedar Springs and Winona are close for the year. Range days at all ranges are limited to only the days that are posted on the ORA website. Oh and don't forget about Kingston too.
