I have secured some Sunday dates for Service Pistol Matches at GRGC on Sunday's though the winter.

You must be familiar with the match procedures, rules, and course of fire as detailed in the National Service Conditions Championship Rulebook and Course of Fire Booklet

This event may make use of slight modifications to the rules, targets, etc, to fit with in the confines of the range the event will take place at. These include
-The targets shall be IDPA style with an additional 4" VBull scoring zone
-Match 26 will be six 6 second exposures
-Match 40 shall use the 4" vbull

Location:
Guelph Rod and Gun Club, Range 6, the indoor pistol range

Match fee:
$20 cash - no change will be given
Per GRGC rules 50% of the gross match fee goes to the.club. The remaining 50% covers the operating costs of the match.

November 24
December 15
January 12
February 9
March 8

Timings:
Setup 0845 to 0900
Squad 1 0900 to 1030
Squad 2 1030 to 1200
Squad 3 1200 to 1300
Squad 4 1330 to 1500
Clean up 1500 to 1515

The event will consist of Series A matches only.
The matches to be shoot will be 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26. If time allows matches 28 and 40 may be included.

Each squad of up to 8 people will shoot in 2 relays of four people per relay. The shooting order will be
Relay 1 Shooting
Relay 2 Scoring/preparing to shoot

The squads are allocated 90 minutes to complete all the matches, this should be sufficient time to complete all matches above including 28, and 40.

You will require 170 rounds of full power ammunition. It is recommended to bring extra.
You will require at least 4 ten round magazines and a method to carry these magazines during the match. More is better.
Holsters shall be made of rigid material and manufactured specifically for the pistol begin used. Holsters shall have at least one level of retention.
No holster qualification is required; black badge, etc. No loaded pistol shall be holstered at any time.

You should be at least 15 minutes early for your squad start time to prepare to shoot. If you are late or not ready you will no be permitted extra time

I'm putting this thread here fulling expecting to hear how its not action shooting ... but it doesn't fit into the "Service Rifles Competitions" forum description

I have worked through the course of fire and found that Match 26 will work out better if it is 6 six second exposures. Match 40 shall use the 4" VBull. This increased the round count to 170. Original Post has been updated.
I have prepared a course of fire with round counts, and score sheet for competitors.
