I just had a guy offer me a whopping $350 for my Marlin Guide gun....:slap:
I thought ...geez that's a good deal and then promptly said..... no!
Then he offered me a non matching Jungle Carbine as a straight across trade.:puke:

On the Equip. Ex. as in real life, some are asking way to much and others are offering way to low, Marlin levers are popular right now and fetch a good dollar, we sell all we can get at the store. Get a price fixed in your mind and stick to it, if it's within reason..you'll get legit offers instead of scammers like above.

I've got a used Cooey single shot 12 ga. Stock only has one crack in it and the rust on the barrel should clean up really easy. Straight trade! My grandfather told me it was really valuable as there were only a few hundred ever made!:D :dancingbanana:

Any takers?:onCrack:

That's a real good offer, perhaps you spoke too soon and offered too much.:onCrack:

:D Now you wouldn't want to take advantage of a fellow GunNutz, of modest means, would you and not offer some extra cash to go along with my "rare" Cooey to take that beater Marlin off your hands, eh?;) :D

Yeah the used prices are a bit high these days with the renewed interest. We used to get lots on here for $400 or a bit more, but now it seems to be $550 - which is what they sell new for in Edmonton.

But for people who don't live in edmonton, it may still be significantly cheaper than new in their area. I had the owner of a small store offer me a big discount on one, and it was still $660 + tax. He was not trying to take advantage of me, his cost was higher.
