I have a COOEY Rabbit rifle my great uncle gave to me before he passed. He purchased it in the 1920's in Athabasca, Alberta. It is a family heirloom that I used for many years, when I was a kid, to hunt gophers, rabbits then grouse.
Sometime between when I used it, and my dad passing a couple years ago, the guide pin that directs the bolt when you pull it back to prepare for firing has been broken. This pin also hold the bolt together. I would sure like to fix this so as to keep this rifle safe for use as a heirloom out at the range. Any assistance to find a pin would be greatly appreciated.
Here is a pic online that I found for a similar rifle. You can see the bolt pin where it slide in the receiver behind the bolt handle.
