Guided hunt a bust

Update I heard back from my guide Dewy Mattews from Anchor D outfitters he got out his waiting list book made a call and gentleman from Ontario who has taken many elk with him over the years has jumped a the chance to take the hunt as Dewy has sold his elk tags to another outfitter starting next year, so his last year to elk hunt makes me sad that I could not complete on the hunt. Thanks to the guys that showed interest in takening it over.

Interesting, I have looked at booking with Anchor D in the past. I wonder why he is getting out of elk guiding? Is he still doing mule deer and black bear?

Yes he will continue mulie and white tail hunts he has had tags for 27 years and was made a offer to purchase which will allow him to purchase more land. Wish I could have made it out for his last ever elk hunt!
