At least 15 years ago there was a fellow from Gull Lake who was distributing brass and bullets. Myself and several other guys up here bought a lot of stuff from him. I remember the stuff he sold came in quite distinctive blue boxes.

He was a very nice guy, but sort of dropped out of sight. Anyone know who he was/is, or what happened to him?

Bruce Martin of Cactus Plains Ammunition, his business is bigger than ever. He puts on great Cowboy action matches also. PM me for his phone number if you need it.
 
You are thinking of big Mike McGee(sp?). Years ago, he and Bruce were partners. They sold truckloads of powder, primers, brass, cast bullets, ammo, and other stuff. Good guys. I dealt with them a lot over the years.

You are thinking of Mike McGee, him and Bruce were business partners back in the day. Mike is smaller now and deals in old rolling blocks and the like.
