gumbo making it game meat style!

So I made my gumbo again and decided to share my recipe and photos this is soooo good !!!

so here we go
you will need

2 pnds okra
1-2 pnds venison sausage
1-2 pnd game bird meat
2 cups carrots
1 cup celery diced
2 large each green and red peppers diced
1 large white onion diced
1 large red onion diced
2 large tomato's diced
4 tbsp fresh garlic
5 cup tomato juices or
1 can tomato sauce
5 cup chicken broth
3 pnds large shrimp
2 bay leaves
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp salt
1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
1 tsp white pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
6-8 dashes Tabasco sauce
2 tsp curry

fry the okra in a large pot with a tsp of butter and the garlic.
Fry ocra until it is very creamy looking ( see pics below)
add the carrots,celery onions,tomato fry for about 5 mins
add broth,tomato sauce and cook for about 10 mins

In a separate pot cook shrimp in just enuf water to cover them cook until nice and pink, set entire pot aside DONT DRAIN

slice sausage and bird meat and throw into okra pot along with the remaining ingredients pour shrimp and the water into okra mixture and cook for about 30 mins ( you may need to add more broth)
taste to make sure there is enuf salt,pepper ect add extra if necessary
enjoy!!!

most place you cant find file powder/sassafras so I left it out in this recipe( even tho my recipe calls for it lol )
I know you can't get it any were near me( Iv looked everywhere) it does make a diffrent but none the less it still taste great!
