Can anyone recommend a decent gun belt and mag pouches ? Like for a G19 or something the like ?

Nothing too crazy just economically priced for casual shooting. Maybe something available on Amazon. I have a Fobus paddle holster and looking to get some mag pouches to put on a belt. Thanks in advance!

Bladetec make a good off the shelf product, I’ve owned a few of their G19 holsters and mag carriers and they are tough and durable for sure. I use a 511 Operator belt, they are affordable, tough, look good and can be worn as an everyday belt, great value for the money

I will stay away from no name or unknown name amazon some of the stuff is garbage catered to the US which everyone and its grandma is looking for CCW or even open carry, lots of things made to compete based on pure price - stick with names like bladetech or even fobus if looking for a budget friendly solution, but not too cheap.

I used a BladeTek owb for my G19 for a couple years, nothing wrong with it but I wanted something compatible with an rmr and a light.

I finally bit the bullet and bought a Safariland als holster, man I like that thing. It's currently on a belt slide that works but I find my draw is slightly high and not canted away from my body quite enough. I need to change my mount but other than that I couldn't be happier.

I bought the model for a g17 as I have a comp on my pistol.

I should add, I use an Esstac shooters belt with Esstac kywi mag pouches too. I found the retention and simplicity of the Esstac pouches works better for me than others I've tried and I like the ease of moving/swapping things around with the outer belt, or simply donning/doffing my gear.

This is for my use at the range, other folks may have better ideas.

This is the way. And it is normally what I would suggest but the OP is on a budget and Safariland is far from it.
Look into the QLS system. It will give you a little space from your body and you can swap your holster to different rigs quickly, or you can swap different holsters on to your main rig.

I am looking at the qls, just haven't done it yet. I guess the suggestion of a Safariland is moot as the op did say he was looking for belt/pouches and already has a holster.

Hey all good thanks for all the information! I do have a holster but always like learning and seeing what other people like. The safari land ones are nice I have seen them before. Thanks again !

For a gun belt, I would suggest a 2-belt system in a 1.75 width. It is easy to don and doff at the range and is one of the most secure options. Also, do your self a favour and ditch the Fobus and get your self a better holster.
This one is $80 but it is as solid as it gets.

As pirate604 suggested, Safariland basically the benchmark for quality duty holsters. There are plenty of solid options for passive retention and active retention but Safariland remains the most widely used/trusted brand for retention holsters amongst LE/Mil users.

There are various preferences/discussions between Safariland 6### series vs 7### series but the 7378 is a good go-to.

I use Blade Tech holster and pouches on a NexBelt EDC belt for IDPA and am quite happy with both. The belt is really stiff and has a ratchet system. Black Scorpion also makes nice holsters. All available at Double Tap Sports.
