I shot a bunch of trap today and shot four boxes of the above. In three of 4 boxes I experienced at least three each of obviously lighter charges. Targets still broke but shots sounded and felt weird and caused stares from others on the line. It was a little on the cold side, but the equivalent amount of super targets worked fine. Cold weather? or just crappy promo loads?

Cold weather most likely. I was out last Sunday and had a couple of off sounding Kents. Challengers are the worst for this in the cold and I won't shoot them if the temperatures drop much below zero. I believe the wads get frozen and don't seal properly.

Last sunday at least every 10 shots on the trap feilds somebody had a weak load it was -17 and its just the plastic wads not sealing its a winter shooters fact of life. Next time put your shells on the dash on the way to the club and it will solve the problem. By the way brands don't matter much after -10.
