KDFGC has many more amenities than the JRSA, but they have a lot of fudds that make the rules there, resulting in some stupid rules. KDFGC is also having issues with their neighbors complaining about the sound after they moved next to the range (lol), so unfortunately the range's time left may be limited.
JRSA is out of town quite a ways (about 15 minutes out of black mountain) towards Big White. The rules are a lot more lenient than KDFGC, but amenities are almost non-existant for a membership that's priced similarly to KDFGC.
Due to Kelowna's bylaws, all ranges current and future need to be outside city limits, so you're going to be driving a bit either way.
It's good you mentioned you're in WK, though. If you go past the Peachland dump, a few hundred meters on the left, there is crown land people use for sighting in, shooting clays, etc. It's pretty easy to spot, as it looks like more of a dump than the actual dump you just passed.
