Gun Digest book of Assault rifles

Does anyone else think that the writing in these books absolutly SUCKS!


Damn but I think my 16 year old can write better!

Not to mention their habit of writing in the third person drives me round the bend.

That book is literally talking about assault rifles, though. Not our civilian bastardized counter-parts.

Just from the look of the cover, I would say that that book is catered to general civilian population. It's a quick overview with enough information for people who like but don't really care about the details of firearms.

This book, on the other hand, is pretty decent. Gives good descriptions and history of firearms from pistols to machine guns and is technical, very encyclopaedic (with pictures of course). Also has charts and info on cartridges and various ammunition. Worth a look. Oh, and it has our C7 and C8!
